Peter Walker - Boston, MA

Peter is nearly a 10 year resident and homeowner of New Bedford, MA and has made his home here with his wife, Samia Walker and daughter, Nyla. Also a father of 3 boys Nathan, Nazir, & Amadeus; Peter's struggles as a young man and father didn't deter him from finding a better path. Being a ex womanizer who didn't understand many of the things he was taught growing up in the "neighborhood" were not the skills or morals he needed to become a man and father. After working diligently for the last 10yrs to reform his entire being, he's now dedicated his life to his modest business, his family, and his community. He’s volunteered with 3rd EyE Unlimited for a total 7 years, 2 as Co-Chair of the Open Music Festival, 5 on the Planning and Strategy Committee. For almost 6 months he’s been event media and brand support for EforAll South Coast, and over 8 years of branding and development support for Doodles Creative Session.

Taking an even deeper look into his heart for giving back he’s mentored and done youth programs for 2 years with The Bridge Program in Lowell, MA an alternative school. A perpetual entrepreneur and business owner for over 10 years of a boutique media and apparel company, Still ill | @IAmStillill. Peter came from the very humble trappings of the inner city and made radical change to reform his life and use his abilities to create and stimulate change in the community, not just for kids coming from what he’s made it through, but as a representative for what can be done when you put forth the effort to do more.

From 2003, while still in High School, to 2008, before stepping 100% into owning a business, his entrepreneurial spirit and making New Bedford his home, Peter was Senior Management of Public Safety for these colleges in the Greater Boston area Berklee College of Music, Cambridge College, Boston Architectural College, Newbury College and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
